Clients can now open High-Yield Cash accounts
Clients can now open and fund individual and joint High-Yield Cash accounts directly through the Altruist web portal and mobile app. This client-led experience streamlines account opening while preserving advisor oversight, helping firms save time without sacrificing control.

How it works
- Clients open and fund High-Yield Cash accounts on web or mobile
- Advisors receive notifications when new accounts are opened
- Firm owners and admins can manage client permissions in Firm Settings
DBA Branding across the Altruist platform
DBA (“Doing Business As”) Branding allows firms to apply branding at the firm and sub-brand level across Altruist. Firms with multiple brands or DBA structures can ensure each client sees the appropriate brand and advisor information, supporting more complex operating models without added complexity.

How it works
- Configure firm-level and sub-brand branding
- Assign the correct brand experience to each client
- Display relevant advisor and firm information across client-facing surfaces

High-Yield Cash is offered through a separate account at Altruist Financial LLC (“Altruist Financial”) that is opened solely for participation in High-Yield Cash. Neither Altruist Financial nor any of its affiliates are banks. Altruist Financial deposits cash in the High-Yield Cash account with one or more banks (“Program Banks” see the Altruist Financial LLC Participating Bank List) that accept and maintain such deposits. Through High-Yield Cash, clients’ cash is deposited into Program Banks where the cash earns a variable interest rate and is eligible for FDIC insurance. FDIC insurance is limited to $250,000 per depositor, per FDIC-insured bank, per ownership category and is subject to conditions. For more information on FDIC insurance coverage, please visit FDIC.gov. For information on the program please view the High-Yield Cash Disclosure Statement.
