Grace Mellis has over 20 years of experience in finance, strategy, and management. Previously, Grace spent nearly a decade at JPMorgan Chase as a Managing Director and Head of International Strategy within the corporate and investment bank. She also served as EMEA CFO for the investor services business, covering asset managers, private equity and hedge funds, and central banks.
Grace has invaluable expertise in scaling small private companies as an investor and advisor, and she has risk management, compliance, and finance experience as an executive and board member of multiple public companies.
Jason Wenk is the founder and CEO of Altruist. For more than two decades, he’s been a leader in the financial technology industry. Before Altruist, Jason was the founder and CEO of FormulaFolios, recognized by Inc. magazine as one of the fastest growing companies in the US for four consecutive years. For his work at FormulaFolios, Jason was named an EY Entrepreneur of the Year in 2018.
At 20 years old, Jason started as a systems analyst for a major Wall Street investment firm. Since then, he’s dedicated his career to making financial advice better, more affordable, and accessible to everyone.

With a career rooted in financial innovation, Adam Grealish brings a wealth of finance and investing expertise to Altruist. He most recently led Betterment’s strategic asset allocation, fund selection, automated portfolio management, and tax strategies. Adam co-founded the algorithmic jobsearch platform Roletroll and served as a vice president at Goldman Sachs, overseeing the structured corporate credit and macro credit trading strategies. Earlier in his career, Adam was part of the global quantitative equity portfolio management team at New York Life Investments.
